IT Support for Warehouses and Distributors in Charlotte, NC
overview
When the scanners drop, the trucks wait
In a warehouse, IT trouble shows up as late shipments. A handheld that loses signal in the back aisles, a label printer that falls off the network, or shipping software that won’t talk to the warehouse system all slow down picking and loading. A ransomware attack can stop shipping entirely. Queen City IT Professionals supports the office, the floor and the dock as one environment: the cabling and Wi-Fi, cellular coverage, cameras and doors, the software and the backups. One accountable team owns all of it.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can you fix weak cell signal inside a warehouse?
Often, yes. In one warehouse with good Wi-Fi but no usable cell data, we compared a building-wide system with a booster system and installed a commercial booster with roof and indoor antennas. Cellular data now works inside.
Do you install Wi-Fi for warehouses, not just offices?
Yes. We do Wi-Fi coverage surveys, then plan and install cabling, switches and access points for warehouses and offices, with separate networks for staff, guests and warehouse equipment.
Can you install cameras and door access at our warehouse?
Yes. We assess the site, including docks and exterior lots, install cameras and door access, and set them up under a business-owned account rather than an employee’s personal one.
We have more than one site. Can you run them as one network?
Yes. We plan the network, Wi-Fi, cameras and door access across locations so credentials and support are consistent, as we did for a two-location operator.
How do you protect a distributor from ransomware?
With layered protection: endpoint detection and response, email security, multi-factor authentication, patching and managed backups with restore testing. No one can promise a breach won’t happen, but these steps reduce the common attack paths and make recovery realistic.
Can you manage our handheld scanners and tablets?
Yes. We enroll handheld scanners, mobile computers and tablets in MDM, lock them down, push apps and updates, and remotely wipe a device if it’s lost.
