IT for Charlotte Professional Services Firms

overview

Your clients trust you with their information

In a professional services firm, the work is the information: client files, financials, drawings, contracts and campaigns. When a file share is slow, a laptop is lost, a former employee still has access or a client sends a security questionnaire nobody knows how to answer, it costs billable time and client trust. Queen City IT Professionals looks after the whole environment: email and file sharing, laptops and phones, security, phones and the people coming and going, so partners can get back to client work.

  • bank-notes-2448_bd66c927-7837-4dbf-bc25-d49656dfe619

A law firm moving off a remote server to cloud file sharing

The firm worked from a remote server and virtual desktops and wanted to move to cloud file sharing without halting work. We synced files in stages while the old system stayed in use, verified versions at a checkpoint, set up PCs with the cloud files in File Explorer, trained staff and coordinated cutover with the outgoing provider. How we help

Support, security, strategy and implementation from one accountable team.

  • Support

Help for partners and staff, in the office or working remotely: laptops, accounts, printers, email and the “it’s not working” calls, onboarding and offboarding of accounts, devices and access, and business phones that follow staff between the office, home and mobile.

  • Security

Endpoint protection with managed detection and response, email security, multi-factor authentication, patching, file-sharing permissions so client folders are open only to the people working on them, and managed backup with regular reporting and restore testing.

  • Strategy

Moving file servers and remote desktops to cloud file sharing in stages without halting work, hybrid work that uses the same secure files and phones everywhere, clean IT provider switches, and practical AI with access limited to approved users.

  • Implementation

Office networks, Wi-Fi and cabling, including second offices and moves, door access and cameras owned by the firm with access removed when staff leave, and fixing website lead forms and notifications when updates break them.

Tell us what’s getting in the way, from file sharing to a client’s security questionnaire. We’ll look at your accounts, devices, security and backups and tell you plainly what we’d fix first. Or call (704) 269-8388. Get a Free IT & Security Assessment

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you move our firm off an old file server without stopping work?
Yes. For a law firm on a remote server, we synced files to cloud file sharing in stages while the old system stayed in use, verified versions, set up PCs, trained staff and then cut over.

How do you handle staff joining and leaving?
We set up accounts, devices and access when someone starts, and remove email, file, device and door access when they leave, so former staff don’t keep access to client information.

Can you manage the laptops and phones our team uses remotely?
Yes. We enroll firm laptops, tablets and staff phones in MDM, push apps and updates, lock down settings, and remotely wipe a device if it’s lost.

We’re unhappy with our current IT provider. How does switching work?
We scope licensing, support, backup, onboarding and account ownership up front, then onboard you and coordinate the license transfer with your previous provider.
