The challenge

A hospitality and brewing group’s leadership wanted to use AI with the data in their restaurant systems, their point-of-sale platform and their restaurant accounting platform, without opening that data to everyone. There was no ready-made connector for this.

Our approach

We built and hosted connectors into the group’s AI workspace: a read-only accounting connection for approved users, and a point-of-sale connection, both hosted, tested and deployed. Single sign-on through the group’s existing business accounts limits access to designated users. We wrote connection instructions with example questions, fixed general-ledger and connector errors along the way, and validated the results with leadership.

What we delivered

  • Hosted connector for the accounting platform (read-only for approved users)
  • Hosted, tested and deployed point-of-sale connector
  • Access restricted to designated users through single sign-on
  • Connection instructions and example questions for users
  • Fixes for general-ledger and connector errors
  • Validation with leadership

The outcome

Both connectors are live. After launch, the team reported successful retail-side connections and is interested in extending the work to brewery operations and wholesale.
